We've got the full report on what financial institutions are doing with digital signage, and a few things really caught our attention:
1. Most Banks Are Now Testing the Digital Waters.
About 40 percent of banks in our survey are still testing digital signage in less than a quarter of their branch network. However, 25 percent of banks in our survey have added digital to their full network and 75 percent have definite or possible plans to add digital signage in 2017.
2. Credit Unions Are (Almost) All In with Digital.
75 percent of Credit Unions had digital signage in more than half of their branch networks. Almost 90 percent of credit unions with digital signage have dynamic screens or monitors in use.
3. Interactive Digital is Trending Up!
The use of interactive digital--large touchscreens and tablets--grew more than twice the rate of other types of digital signage, compared to the previous year.
