From Military to Banking Leadership
Carla’s career is a testament to her dedication, drive, and ability to lead through change. After serving in the U.S. Military for six years (starting at just 17), Carla transitioned to the banking industry, where she quickly made her mark.
- At Bank of America, Carla earned her Six Sigma certification and specialized in leading change initiatives.
- At Florida Community Bank, she built and led high-performing sales teams.
- At Synovus, Carla rose to SVP of Retail Banking and later SVP of Business Excellence, spearheading transformative strategies that redefined customer experiences.
Most recently, Carla served as SVP of Branch & ATM Channel Optimization at Synovus, where she worked alongside DBSI as a client. Her firsthand experience collaborating with our team on digital-first strategies and interactive branch designs gives her unique insights into both our solutions and the challenges financial institutions face.
