CHANDLER, Arizona – DBSI was proud to host Chandler Chamber's Construction Executive & Industry Roundtable Series on Friday, October 9.
After more than 18 years with DBSI, I’ve learned that successful construction projects are built on more than great designs, skilled teams, and solid execution. They’re built on strong relationships. That’s why it was a privilege to welcome the Chandler Chamber of Commerce’s Construction Executive & Industry Roundtable Series to DBSI’s headquarters and Ideation Center on October 9.
The event brought together construction executives, city officials, and local business leaders with a shared goal: supporting Chandler’s continued growth and success.
The morning kicked off with Terri Kimble, President & CEO of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce, followed by an opportunity for me to share DBSI’s story and welcome attendees into our Ideation Center.
While our projects span the country, Chandler is home. It’s where our team collaborates, develops new ideas, and helps clients rethink what’s possible for their spaces.
Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how much this community has grown. With that growth comes tremendous opportunity, along with challenges that require businesses, contractors, and city leaders to work closely together.
A morning highlight was hearing from City of Chandler representatives Micah Miranda, Steven Turner, and Dan Haskins.
The discussion focused on topics important to the construction industry, including permitting, capital improvement planning, and the city’s continued development.
Anyone who has spent time in construction knows that even the best project plans depend on coordination. Clear communication, thoughtful planning, and strong partnerships are essential to keeping projects moving forward.
Having the opportunity to connect directly with city leadership, exchange perspectives, and better understand the priorities shaping Chandler’s future is invaluable.
The morning concluded with an open group discussion facilitated by Terri Kimble, allowing attendees to ask questions, share challenges and insights, and strengthen industry connections.
In my almost two decades at DBSI, one thing has remained constant: great projects start with great people and strong partnerships.
Events like this remind us that our work goes beyond individual projects. We’re helping shape the communities where we live and work.
Thank you to Terri Kimble, the Chandler Chamber, City of Chandler representatives, and everyone who joined us for a great discussion.
We’re proud to call Chandler home and look forward to continuing to build relationships that move our local Arizona community forward.
