Desert Rivers Credit Union officially kicked off construction of its new Moab headquarters and branch with a groundbreaking ceremony held on March 4, 2026.
The event brought together Desert Rivers Credit Union leadership, board members, and Moab community members alongside DBSI representatives to mark the start of a facility designed to support long-term growth and a relationship-driven member experience.
“This is a proud moment in Desert Rivers Credit Union's story for our team and the members who trust us every day. We’re building a space that helps us stay close to our members, deepen relationships, and serve the Moab community for generations to come,” said Samuel Crane, President and CEO of Desert Rivers Credit Union.
The new 11,341-square-foot, ground-up headquarters and branch will be located at 1125 S. US-191, Moab, UT 84532, with an anticipated completion date of April 2027.
In January 2026, Desert Rivers Credit Union announced DBSI’s selection as general contractor, building on a partnership that spanned early development of the project, including strategic planning and design. The project team plans to engage local subcontractors wherever possible, aligning with Desert Rivers Credit Union’s commitment to keeping the project investment within the Moab community.

The new headquarters and branch will expand Desert Rivers Credit Union’s capacity to serve members, support team collaboration and growth, and provide a highly functional environment aligned with its values and community presence.
