A Customer Update From Our CEO

As this pandemic continues, so does our efforts to help you. We’ve simply adapted to the way we work. Much like your own efforts, maintaining the health of our staff and those whom we do business remains our top priority. Thankfully, no one at DBSI or CFM has tested positive for COVID-19, and we continue to review our operations daily to ensure we can continue to work together safely.

Over-communication is needed in times like these, so I want to continue to keep you informed on actions we’ve taken and our future approach to supporting our customers in what will be the “new normal.” 

Actions We’ve Taken to Support Business Continuity

  • Implemented COVID-19 safety protocols and enhanced sanitation for all field and onsite project personnel. To keep construction project moving, we have detailed safety measures in place on each job and have vastly modified our schedules to ensure separation of workers on each site.
  • Provided necessary PPE supplies, emergency supply kits, and washable masks to employees who are in close contact with others.
  • Provided real-time travel resource mapping & support services to ensure all traveling employee needs can be supported, that they are aware of any travel restrictions, and lastly should they have an issue a support structure is in place to assist.
  • Reviewed and communicated any expected project delays or closures to clients
  • Moved 90% + of our workforce to working remotely
  • Hosted weekly meetings of readiness plans to ensure we can support you from essentially anywhere
  • Continued to support customers through email and phone support services

Our Future Approach to Adapting to the New Normal

Throughout the pandemic, our clients have counted on us to help them navigate the future of the branch and headquarters spaces through the right application of design, technology, software, and training. While aspects of how business is done are changing rapidly, and how long this will last is uncertain, we do know changes are certain.

Below is how we are staying ahead of the curve to provide our customers with relevant go-forward strategies:

  • Developing future post-pandemic design best practices for both branch and HQ spaces
  • Identifying and recommending technology that can tremendously help reduce costs and support safer interactions that still allow business to thrive
  • Packaging our design developments into a cohesive design methodology we call ADAPTIV
  • Reviewing active projects and identifying suggested design changes that should be considered with new social distancing requirements
  • Keeping projects moving forward using remote meeting applications such as “GoToMeeting”
