“DBSI is a great partner and they deliver on what they commit to. Keeping our recyclers up and running is just as important to DBSI as it is to us. We trust them because we know their recommendations will be right.” - Tory McVay, SVP Chief Retail & Marketing Officer
As the largest credit union in Oregon, OnPoint Community Credit Union serves over 503,000 members today, and opened an additional 20 branches in 2021 alone.
With this rapid expansion, the OnPoint team knew they not only needed the right banking equipment for their branch network, but the right service provider who had the ability to improve and optimize overall branch performance.
When organizing their service provider checklist, OnPoint Community Credit Union was looking to not only looking for a team who could increase device performance, but also decrease downtime, lessen repeat service calls, and quickly resolve issues to improve overall satisfaction with branch staff.
That’s when they called up our DBSI team of professional banking equipment experts to do the job. The decision to bring DBSI in as their new provider quickly paid off, resulting in zero downtime and world-class service. Once we were on board, our service team of banking equipment experts worked with OnPoint to source and install almost 80 new machines.
The key to this successful rollout was understanding the needs of OnPoint Community Credit Union—their growth strategy and vision, the foot traffic within each branch, and their implementation of the Universal Associate Model.
With these factors in mind, we were able to organize a comprehensive plan with our recommended TCRs to support their continued growth for years to come.
The result was the rollout of an expanded fleet of teller cash recyclers which included advanced technology, RTA, so their branch staff could complete transactions from anywhere in the branch. Each one of their new teller cash recyclers is equipped with an RTA pin pad that provides its Universal Associates with ease of access, no matter where the transaction is started.
