Arizona Financial Credit Union marked the grand opening of its Flagship Biltmore Branch with two days of on-site celebrations, bringing members, partners, and the local community together to experience the newly transformed space. DBSI team members joined the Arizona Financial Credit Union team for the festivities, including an official ribbon-cutting and a grand-opening mixer, celebrating a project built around a simple idea: the branch should feel like a destination, not an errand.
The transformation is apparent before you even step inside. The building has been reimagined to elevate the brand's presence, turning a once-low-profile location into a clear, recognizable asset for Arizona Financial Credit Union in the Biltmore area. Inside, the branch is designed to support the moments that matter most, from quick visits to meaningful financial conversations, while also functioning as a welcoming community space that can host member events and encourage connection.
“Financial institutions are rethinking what the branch can be. This location was designed to feel open and inviting, while giving Arizona Financial Credit Union new ways to connect with members and bring the brand to life,” said Carla Trombly, SVP of Banking Transformation at DBSI.
The Biltmore location’s "high-tech meets high-touch" approach blends design, build, and technology to elevate Arizona Financial Credit Union’s in-person experience. A mesh digital display adds a modern visual layer to the environment while helping Arizona Financial Credit Union share timely information, highlight community messaging, and support member education. The space also features a golf simulator, an unexpected element that reinforces the branch’s role as a community-forward destination and creates new opportunities for member engagement.
