Desert Rivers Credit Union Selects DBSI as General Contractor for New Moab Headquarters and Branch

New facility reinforces long-term commitment to members, community, and future growth

MOAB, Utah – Desert Rivers Credit Union today announced it has selected DBSI as the general contractor for its new headquarters and branch in Moab, marking an important milestone in the Credit Union’s long-term investment in its members and the communities it serves across southeastern Utah.

The new 11,341-square-foot, ground-up facility, located near 1125 South Highway US-191, is designed to create a modern, efficient, and welcoming environment that strengthens member relationships while supporting future growth. Construction is expected to begin in March 2026, with an anticipated completion date of April 2027.

“This new headquarters and branch represent our deep commitment to Moab and to the members who place their trust in us,” said Samuel Crane, President and CEO of Desert Rivers Credit Union. “At the heart of this project is our focus on people and relationships. We are intentionally designing a space that makes banking simpler, more personal, and more connected—where members can build trusted relationships and receive thoughtful guidance for every stage of life.”

The facility is purpose-built to support Desert Rivers’ Personal Banker approach, allowing members to work with a dedicated financial professional who understands their needs and goals. The design emphasizes openness, accessibility, and connection, aligning the physical space with the Credit Union’s relationship-driven service model and mission of putting people before profit.

DBSI has partnered with Desert Rivers throughout the strategic planning and design phases of the project and will now lead construction. The project team plans to utilize local subcontractors wherever possible, reinforcing Desert Rivers’ commitment to supporting the local economy and investing in the communities it serves.

Once completed, the new headquarters and branch will expand Desert Rivers’ capacity to serve members, support team collaboration and growth, and provide a highly functional environment aligned with the Credit Union’s values of service, trust, and community presence.
